Transparency for visitors
This notice explains the information used to operate ARTiFLEX accounts and the optional Microsoft Clarity engagement analytics available inside the three signed-in browser apps.

ARTiFLEX does not load Microsoft Clarity until you select Allow analytics inside a browser app. Choosing Not now leaves Clarity unloaded. After accepting, use the persistent Analytics button in any app to disable analytics; the site sends a denied consent signal, asks Clarity to erase its cookies, and reloads the page.
Advertising storage is always denied by ARTiFLEX. We do not send your ARTiFLEX account name, email address, account ID, or another custom user identifier to Clarity.
Kronus One Studios does not and will not sell your personal information. Any feedback or engagement data we collect has one purpose: to improve the quality, usability, reliability, and safety of our services for you.
We use reasonable due diligence to minimize collected data and to anonymize or pseudonymize personal details wherever practical. For Clarity, that includes strict whole-app content masking, no ARTiFLEX account identifiers, no custom user identifiers, and no advertising storage. Because Microsoft still assigns pseudonymous browser and session identifiers and may process network metadata, we describe these recordings as strictly masked and pseudonymous rather than guaranteeing perfect anonymity.
When you create an account, ARTiFLEX stores the name and email address you provide. Your password is transformed into a salted password hash; the plain-text password is not stored.
To keep you signed in and protect the service, ARTiFLEX uses an essential secure session cookie and stores session records that include browser information and a cryptographic hash derived from the connecting IP address. Sign-in sessions are configured to expire after 30 days.
The current NC Editor, Spindle Probe, and Vise Jaws browser apps keep their working projects, programs, settings, and related shop inputs in browser storage during normal use. They do not upload CNC program content to ARTiFLEX servers as part of normal editing.
You control files that you deliberately import, export, download, print, or share through browser features.
If you allow analytics, Microsoft Clarity processes page and app interaction information used for session reconstruction and heatmaps. This can include page visits, clicks or taps, pointer movement, scrolling, selections, window changes, page layout, performance and diagnostic events, and pseudonymous session identifiers.
Clarity may use IP-based geolocation and pseudonymous analytics cookies after consent. ARTiFLEX explicitly masks the entire app document before Clarity loads, including visible text and images. Form controls, editable fields, program or code output, and machining-status content receive additional masking. Canvas-rendered toolpaths and 3D scenes are not reconstructed by Clarity.
We use strictly masked recordings and aggregated heatmaps only to understand which controls and workflows visitors find useful, where visitors get stuck, and which parts of each app need improvement. Recordings are not linked to ARTiFLEX accounts.
The apps are separated in Clarity by their distinct URLs and the custom values nc-editor, spindle-probe, and vise-jaws.
The essential artiflex_session cookie supports account authentication. The browser-local artiflex_clarity_consent_v1 value remembers whether you allowed or declined optional analytics.
When analytics is allowed, Clarity may set first- and third-party analytics cookies to connect page views into sessions and calculate aggregated engagement information.
ARTiFLEX is delivered through Cloudflare, which provides hosting, security, database, and storage services. Microsoft provides Clarity analytics.
Microsoft currently states that Clarity playback data is retained for 30 days, while click and heatmap data and labeled or favorited sessions may be retained for up to 9 months. Microsoft controls its own processing and retention practices.
This is the current ARTiFLEX privacy and analytics notice. Broader commercial terms, refund terms, and customer-support contact details will be published before retail installer sales are enabled.
